Bidding and Buying from Auctions
The Bronstein Auction Team welcomes you to our full service auction facility!
We would like to share with you how a public auction operates and how to buying from auctions can be very rewarding!
Every Friday at 5PM we sell items from various estates, business and consignors at our facility by live auction. Our auctions are open to the public so there is no special license or admission fee to attend.
To bid you will need to register in our office and get a bidder number. When the item(s) you are interested in come up for auction you raise your bidder card to enter the bid that the auctioneer is asking and if you are the last bidder our clerk records your number. Most items will sell to the highest bidder unless there is a reserve which will be either accepted or rejected on the spot. After you are done buying you visit the office again to make payment for your purchases. All purchases are subject to a 18% buyer premium. Sales tax will be added as well unless you are a dealer and have a valid Florida sales tax certificate on file with us. Once you have your paid receipt you present that to one of our staff who will assist you in locating the correct items for you to pick up.
We accept cash, visa, master card or checks with prior auctioneer approval. Items purchased must be removed either after the auction or the following day. If you cannot pick up the merchandise with in that time frame you must make specific arrangements with the auctioneer for delivery (for a fee) or removal. Items left past 24 hours after auction are subject to a storage fee or disposal.
